HOMETHE STORY…CHARACTERSABOUT MEFEEDBACK

EPISODE 1: BIRTHDAYS

Aunt Lesda planned a joint birthday party to celebrate the prince’s 10th and Len’s 12th birthdays, together. The prince, however, goes missing on his birthday.  Kat is psychic and she will be able to locate the prince, if they can get close to him, within four days.  This psychic connection will be lost after four days. Suspecting that the prince has been kidnapped and taken to Marrinat, the prince’s guardians and friends travel to Marrinat, on the prince’s special spaceship, the Alight, immediately.

EPISODE 2: THE BATTLE WITH VIL

The children and the guardians reach Marrinat, and travel to the gardens of the Sages. Riding on Scad, in the sky, the children see a message in the clouds: V R HERE. Scad explains that this is cloud writing and asks what the message means. Art interprets this message: We are here. Scad is surprised, because their journey from earth was supposed to be a secret. Vil appears in the sky and attacks Scad. Scad is blinded, when fireballs shot by Vil hit his eyes. Scad bravely flies on, guided by the children, and safely passes through the arch into the gardens of the Sages, with the children. Vil tries to follow Scad through the arch, and bursts into flames. The Sage explains that the impure will not be able to enter the gardens of the Sages. The invisible protective screen will burn the impure when they attempt to get in through the arch. The children meet Xilen, a dragon who guards the gardens of the Sages.

EPISODE 3: THE RIDDLE OF THE MESSAGE IN THE CLOUDS

The Sage gives special gifts to the Prince’s guardians. Kat gets a pendant that enhances her psychic abilities. Don is given a medal that improves his ability to sniff out visours. Scad is gifted horn rings that increase his power in battles. The guardians can triple in size when they transform to protect their friends. The bloom of visions shows a visour sending the message V R HERE. It then transforms into Vil and distracts Scad, allowing Vil to come, unseen, from behind and attack Scad. 5 additional visours arrive, and impersonate Kat, Don and the children. The Sage explains that V R Here means 5 are here, where V is the Roman Numeral 5. It was a signal asking 5 visours to appear, to impersonate the guardians and the children. Vil meant to kill all of the guardians and the children, and the impostors planned to infiltrate the Sages’ gardens. Don detects a visour lurking outside the Sages’ arch, and kills it. They get a message that Vil’s evil brothers are attacking the Chiroptex village. The Sage asks Scad, Kat, Don and the children to find a prophecy stored in the forbidden section of the Sages’ library while he and Xilen fly out to stop the attacks on the Chiroptex village.

EPISODE 4: THE PROPHECY

The guardians and children find the prophecy by solving a riddle (picture, above), that instructs them to sprinkle water from the Sages’ pond (Pondwater) on a leaf that shuffles out. The prophecy appears on the leaf, and reads cryptically: The throne remains vacant, awaiting the Sageblood’s ascent. Art pauses to look closely at a gap on the shelves, where an important secret was kept. The part plant and part animal Sentinel, who guards the library, attacks Art by injecting poison through a thorn that pierced his shoe. The guardians and the children manage to escape. But Art has turned blue and his heartbeat is faint. The Sentinel is allowed to prowl outside the library after sunset. It claims that Art broke the rules when he peered at the gap in the shelves, and wants Art to be handed over. The Sentinel threatens to capture Art after sunset, when it is allowed to prowl in the darkness. Meanwhile, the Sage and Xilen have not returned, though the day is late.

EPISODE 5: SAVING THE CHIROPTEX VILLAGE

The Sage and ands Xilen return just before nightfall, covered in ashes, with some burns. The Sage reviews the events that occurred in the library through the bloom of visions. The bloom shows Art’s shoe touching the edge of the shadows. Art has not stepped on the shadows. The Sentinel is forced to withdraw its claim on Art. It helps to cure Art. The children enjoy the traditional food of Marrinat, including crunchy flowers resembling baked cookies, in the morning. The Sage and Xilen explain that Vil’s brothers set fire to every part of the Chiroptex village. They got some burns, and were blanketed with ashes, when they helped to rescue the Chiroptex from burning structures. The Sage and Xilen burnt the castle of Evilore, in return. Vil’s brothers had to return to the castle of Evilore, to protect it, since they are guardians of Evilore. In the next episode, the children learn that the prophecy they found in the library complements another piece, called the Riddle. These prophecies are part of a political game, that led to the death of the Sage’s elder brother and the prince’s flight to earth.
